This past weekend was the annual ritual of SuperBowl watching. Whether you are in for the game, the commercials, or the time spent with others….well….two of those three still applied! I was watching with my usual interest in how the various companies who spend money to be in front of us would commit to the time. I was not at all surprised to see so many commercials approaching us through the lens of being connected, staying connected, or otherwise in relationship with each other. Did you feel it too? As we all wrestle with considering how we become a hybrid (or a remote) workforce, now is a really good time to be planful about how connections can be sustained, engaged, and enlivened whether in the onboarding stage of career or the retiring. As you look ahead to 2021, consider what you can create as your action plan into more connection with colleagues – bosses, employees, and networks – to have relationships that are meaningful for everyone.
