What would you do with a hammer and a chisel with 360 feet of hill in front of you? Well if you were Dashrath Manjhi you would use those tools to carve a path. A path that would cut the distance you’re your village to the next one over by 24 miles. This would be important to you because your wife died falling from the mountain while managing the previous long and arduous 34 miles from her village to the neighboring one. That’s right. The distance changed from 34 miles to 9 miles! Mr. Manhhi took it upon himself to create a better path for himself, and his village. His commitment to others required 22 years of effort in creating a better path. The next 100 days (hardly 22 years) will finish this year. What commitment will you make to improve the path for your “village”?
